The irVest’s advanced features yet simple design allows for fast game play with an ultra realistic experience. We’ve taken a standard MOLLE tactical vest and converted it into a unique receiving unit for use in irTactical training events. Tough nylon construction resists wear and tear in the harshest environments. You’ll be able to attach all your standard accessories such as magazine pouches, communications gear, hydration, and anything else. There are ten individual sensors placed in strategic locations around the vest. They allow placement of gear on the most common places in order to still be receptive of any infrared signals. Each sensor consists of an infrared sensor and a bright LED light which can quickly be swapped for a new one if anything goes wrong. If an enemy shoots your upper right back, that sensor will light up. Two beepers are placed on the shoulder tops and alert the user when hit. The control box is placed inside a pouch centered on the back of the best. This glass-filled nylon case contains the electronics and connectors for all sensors. Expandable ports are found for the addition of more sensors, including a helmet. The short range RF chip found within controls the weapon syncing to the vest. Each vest can have up to 3 weapons synced to it. When shot, the weapons turn off. Also stored in the control box are the long lasting rechargeable lithium ion batteries and a USB port for future software updating. Set up is extremely simple and only four buttons are found, controlling everything. Once you sync your gear to the irVest, simply turn it on and play. No re-syncing needed, even after being turned off. The vest also features long range RF communications allowing for connectivity to a Command Center Module for an unlimited amount of training possibilities and customization.
