SBTactical is proud to be invited to supply equipment to Urban Shield Boston in May 2014.

“Urban Shield Boston is a national model, full-scale exercise, designed to assess and validate the speed, effectiveness and efficiency of capabilities, as well as test the adequacy of regional policies, plans, procedures and protocols. This exercise incorporates regional critical infrastructure, emergency operation centers, regional communication systems, equipment and assets, as well as personnel representing all aspects of emergency response including intelligence, law enforcement, Explosive Ordinance Disposal Units, Fire, EMS, etc.” (Ready Boston, 2013)

I posted the video from last years exercise. This year, however, SBT will be there so Law Enforcement teams will have the advantage of using iCombat equipment in one of the scenarios! This will mean none of the protective masks you see being worn, and an ultra realistic training event.
